What makes organic Argan oil special?

Posted by Hakim Seffar on

Pure and organic Moroccan Argan oil has many benefits for our hair, our skin, and our health.

Argan oil owes its properties to the fact that the argan tree is an endemic tree, growing in the wild on hundreds of hectares, which allows to obtain an oil of good quality, without pesticide or other.

Argan oil is composed of more than 80% unsaturated fatty acids.

With 45% of oleic acids, its richness in omega 9 offers beneficial properties for the health of the body, both for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and certain cancers, as the reduction of cholesterol and hypertension.

With 35% linoleic acid and a wealth of omega 6, the virtues of argan oil extend to the beauty of the body.

In addition to these fatty acids, argan oil is naturally rich in antioxidants.

The presence of a large proportion of detocopherols, also called Vitamin E, makes argan oil a natural antioxidant helping to fight against cellular aging.

This means that argan oil is particularly recommended as an anti-wrinkle care. The polyphenols that compose it are beneficial for health. Indeed, their role as natural antioxidants is attracting more and more interest in the prevention and treatment of cancer, inflammatory, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. They are also used as additives for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

Everyone is unanimous about the speed of penetration of argan oil on the skin. This property is actually due to squalene, a molecule that allows the oil to pass through the skin without leaving a trace or greasy feeling.

The richness of argan oil in unsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E gives it a remarkable dietary profile with health benefits but also very valuable properties for skin care.
